Privacy Policy

Introduction

Data Media Information databases and Direct Marketing Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Site Management”) respects the privacy of users on the “emailgeeks.show” website, operating at https://emailgeeks.show or any additional address or online access method at the discretion of the Site Management (“the Site”).

These terms will inform you about the privacy policy in effect on the site. They cover, among other things, how the Site Management uses the information provided by users on the site or collected while you use the site, including the online community. In this policy, the term “personal information” refers to any information that can reasonably be used to identify you, including your first and last name, email address, phone number, and more.

This privacy policy is an integral part of the site’s terms of use. The policy is written in the masculine form for convenience only and refers to all genders.

Providing Personal Information

Using most of the site’s features and viewing its content does not require registration or providing personal information. However, certain areas and sections of the site, such as the online community, may require registration and providing personal and identifying details, such as full name, phone number, active email address, and additional details as needed and depending on the circumstances.

The Site Management invites its users to contact them on any matter they choose. To this end, the Site Management provides an online contact form.

Additionally, the company offers a registration form through which you can provide your contact details to receive marketing information from the company, including via electronic means.

When completing these forms, you will be asked to provide personal details such as first name, last name, active email address, phone number, and additional details, such as the purpose of your inquiry. You must provide only accurate, complete, and correct information and, by doing so, confirm the accuracy of the information you provide. Incorrect information may prevent contact with you if needed.

When you provide personal information of a third party, you declare that you have obtained their explicit and informed consent to provide their details to the Site Management for use in accordance with this policy.

You are not legally required to provide personal information. Providing it depends on your consent and free will; however, providing incorrect information or failing to provide all required details may prevent you from completing registration or using some of the site’s services, affect service quality, and hinder the ability to contact you if necessary.

Providing your details, including registering for the online community, indicates your explicit consent to receive promotional materials from the Site Management, as defined in Section 30A of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 1982. Promotional materials will be sent to you based on the information you provide to the Site Management through the online form (usually via email or text messages). At any time, you can withdraw your consent and notify the Site Management of your refusal to receive promotional materials, either generally or of a specific type, by sending a refusal message. The method for sending a refusal message will be detailed in the promotional materials sent to you.

This policy does not apply to the activities of these social networks.

We recommend that you update yourself regularly on the site’s privacy policy, as it may change from time to time.

Transferring Information to Third Parties

The Site Management will not transfer your personal details or information collected about your activity on the site (to the extent that such details and information personally identify you) to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • As necessary for the proper provision of the site’s services;

If the Site Management reorganizes its activities or the site’s activities in a different framework and changes its legal structure or merges with another entity or merges the site’s activities with those of a third party—it will be entitled to transfer a copy of the information collected about you on the site or any statistical information it holds, provided that the new entity undertakes to comply with this privacy policy towards you.

Where is the Information Stored?

The information we collect is stored in our database, hosted by server hosting and data backup providers, which may be located outside Israel. Additional information, as detailed in this policy, is collected and stored by other companies (such as statistical companies, etc.). They may also store the information outside the country. Your consent to this policy also constitutes consent to store the information abroad and transfer it outside Israel.

Cookies

The site may use ‘cookies’ for its ongoing and proper operation, as well as to collect statistical data about site use, verify details, tailor the site to your personal preferences, and ensure information security. ‘Cookies’ are text files created by your browser at the instruction of the site’s computers. Some cookies expire when you close your browser, while others are stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies contain various information, such as the pages you visited, how long you stayed on the site, where you came from, sections and information you want to see when entering the site, and more.

If you do not want to receive cookies, you can avoid this by changing the settings in your browser. For this, please consult your browser’s help file. Right to View Information

Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, every person is entitled to view information about themselves, either personally or through a power of attorney they have authorized in writing or through a guardian. A person who views information about themselves and finds it inaccurate, incomplete, unclear, or outdated is entitled to request the data owner to correct or delete the information. If the data owner refuses, they must notify the requester in the manner and method prescribed by regulations. If the data owner refuses to allow viewing or to correct or delete information, the requester may appeal to a Magistrates’ Court in the manner and method prescribed by regulations.

Additionally, if the information in the Site Management’s databases is used for personal contact based on your membership in a population group defined by one or more characteristics of individuals whose names are included in the database (“commercial proposal”), you are entitled under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, to request in writing that the information about you be deleted from the database. The Site Management will delete information needed only to contact you with commercial proposals as described above. Note that deleting information may prevent you from continuing to receive services from the site. Information required by the Site Management for managing its business – including documentation of commercial and other actions you performed on the site – will continue to be stored by the Site Management as required by law but will no longer be used to contact you. If you do not receive notification within 30 days that the requested information has been deleted as per this section, you are entitled to appeal to a Magistrates’ Court in the manner prescribed by regulations to order the Site Management to act accordingly.
